2015 Rose of Tralee, Elysha Brennan will signal the simultaneous lighting and releasing of the lanterns into The Tralee Bay Wetlands.

The ‘Celebration of Light’ has become a very important annual community event which gives an opportunity for all those whose lives have been touched by cancer to come together and share experiences and celebrate the lives of families and friends.

The symbolic lighting of candles creates a very special atmosphere, people are united and hope is renewed. Through solidarity and light Recovery Have’s sincere aim is to bring hope to the community

In its fifth year, the annual Celebration of Light event has taken place in beaches all over Kerry such as Fenit, Ballybunion, Banna, Causeway, Portmagee and Dingle.

The event is held in association with the Rose of Tralee International Festival.

If you or someone you know would like to hold a Celebration of Light in your community, Recovery Haven would be delighted to help you promote hope through light.
