Irish Heart Foundation: Last St Stephens Day was a great day for our community when the Mike Fitzgerald Memorial Hurling Game took place in the sportsfield and last Thursday was another great day, when the Irish Heart Foundation mobile unit visited the village, it got a fantastic response from the community with the church car park a busy place with people coming and going from the unit.
The total raised from the game was €9735 and the Fitzgerald family presented the cheque to the Irish Heart Foundation that evening.
