Juveniles

U6: We had a smaller group in under 6s today with lots of the older boys having made the move up to under 8s this week.
We made the most of the windy conditions with fun team games & races & some work on hand passing and kicking skills with the help of Johnny Enright teaching us the correct skills. Well done to our player of the week, Cillian Enright!  Lots to practice this week boys and girls!!
We only have 2 weeks of academy left & possibly a surprise visit on the last session so all welcome to come & join in for fun & fitness.

U8: We had a great turnout yesterday of 16 under 8’s for training under the stewardship of stand in coaches Joe Costello and John McMillan. It was great to see some under 6’s who made the step up to Under 8’s and performing admirably. We had a lot of catch and kicking drills and we finished with a great game at the end which ended in a draw! It is clear to see a lot of boys are putting in a big effort at home practicing so it’s important that all mum’s and dad’s help with this in order to improve their skills. Our player of the week is an outstanding example of who is very comfortable kicking the ball off both feet and hand-passing off both hands. Well done to Blake Bowler who was player of the week. Special mention also to Veronica who came to her first session last Sunday and participated very well amongst all the boys. Academy continues next week at 10:30am on Sunday. We only have 2 more weeks before we break for the winter so make sure you all attend

U10: Our U10’s resumed training last Sunday morning with a good turnout. Well done to the kids who attended. Training resumes this Sunday at 10.30am as there are only a few Sundays left, it is important that all turn up for training.
