WELL we haven’t had one of these for a while, but all good things come to an end.
Just in time for the weekend, a Status Yellow Rain and Thunderstorm warning for Munster and Connacht has been issued by Met Éireann Weather.
They say heavy showers or longer spells of rain with thundery downpours in some places may lead to spot flooding.
The warning is valid from 12 noon on Friday to 12 noon on Saturday. Unfortunately, it looks like the rain will persist in Kerry for the remainder of Saturday while it will be mix of sunshine and frequent showers on Sunday.
