A STATUS Yellow Thunderstorm and Rain warning has been issued for Ireland by Met Éireann.
They say heavy showers with thunderstorms are likely in many areas. This could result in spot flooding and difficult travelling conditions. The warning is valid from 12noon today to 10pm tonight.
According to the rainfall radar on the Met.ie website, in the Tralee area there will be frequent heavy showers all afternoon but it will clear up towards the early evening.
