Gusts will exceed these values in exposed coastal areas and on higher ground, especially in the southwest. The warning is valid from 4am to 3pm.

The Status Yellow rain warning sees heavy rain leading to accumulations of around 25 to 40mm but may exceed these limits in mountainous areas.

The warning is valid from 6am to 6pm, but from their rainfall radar on their website, it looks like the worst of the rain will have passed by around 2pm here in Tralee.
