THE biggest annual gathering of fashionistas in the county takes place tomorrow (Friday) when thousands of ladies dress to impress at McElligotts Honda Ladies Day in Listowel.
And if they impress the judges, they’re in for some incredible prizes. Two of Ireland’s best known fashion personalities – TV Stylist and business woman, Celia Holman Lee and TV Stylist and Presenter, Marietta Doran — will be looking for one lucky lady to go home with an all new and super stylish Honda Civic for a year plus a cheque for €3,000 if they win the first prize.
One of the most popular events on the Irish racing and fashion calendar, this is the fourth year McElligotts Tralee and Honda Ireland have sponsored this hugely successfully fashion event which attracts over 28,000 stylish race-goers from all over Ireland and beyond.

In addition to the Best Dressed Lady prize, there are also cash prizes for the two runners up (€1,000 and €500 respectively) the Jazziest Headpiece (€500), and Most Stylish Selfie (€300).
Celia and Marietta will personally select all the finalists who will then be interviewed on the McElligotts Honda stage located near the Old Wier (town entrance) to the course.
The organisers have ensured there is ample space for everyone who wants to see all the finalists’ interviews on stage and the judges will announce the overall winners on this stage before the official prize presentation in the parade ring.
