THE proceeds from two separate fundraisers were presented to Kerry Hospice over the past few days totalling over €8,500.
Local musician Mike O’Shea raised €6,860 after contributing the proceeds of a CD and fundraising. He presented the cheque on Tuesday to Kerry Hospice volunteers.
Meanwhile, the staff of McCauley Pharmacy Tralee presented a cheque for €1,700 to Maura Sullivan of Kerry Hospice.

The money was raised through a gift-wrapping service provided by staff during the Christmas season.
Customers were asked to donate to the worthy cause and very kindly did so. Christine Foley of McCauley’s said they were delighted to support such a wonderful foundation and sincerely thanked their customers for their generosity.
Kerry Hospice thanked Mike O’Shea and all at McCauley’s for their efforts and said all fundraisers are welcome for the palliative care unit.
