THE Basketball Ireland 2018/19 All Star teams were announced today and it sees three Tralee Warriors players honoured for their efforts on the court this past season
The All Stars were voted for by coaches in each division of the National League. In the Men’s Super League, point guard for this year’s League champions, Paul Dick of Garvey’s Tralee Warriors was named in the first team.
His team-mate Eoin Quigley was included in the Men’s Superleague Team 2 while Kieran Donaghy was named in Team 3.
It comes a week after the news Pat Price of Garvey’s Tralee Warriors scooped the Coach of the Month award for March.
Elsewhere, Sean O’Brien of Scotts Lakers St Paul’s Killarney was named in the Men’s Division One Team 2 All-Stars and Lorraine Scanlon of Team Tom McCarthy’s St Mary’s Castleisland was in the Women’s Division One All Stars Team Two.
