A BEAUFORT man was at Na Gaeil GAA Club at Killeen on Tuesday evening to collect his lotto winnings.

A cheque of €4400 was presented to Tim Coffey in the clubhouse after winning the club’s lotto two weeks ago.  Tim Lynch, chairperson, congratulated Tim on his win and thanked him for being a Lotto supporter for many years.

Tim thanked all within and outside the club, both those who sold the tickets and those who supported the effort. He mentioned that the Coffey house had 10 All Ireland Senior medals thanks to the exploits of Tim’s wife Mary Jo (nee Curran).

The chairperson explained that Na Gaeil Lotto was won fairly regularly as it was now one of the few remaining lottos working on only 28 numbers. He also pointed out that €200 were awarded to the 6  draw winners each week.
