A MOUNTAIN climb held by workers at an Abbeydorney-based company raised over €10,000 for Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
On Monday, Nicola O’Callaghan of the Business Development Team at TLI Group, handed the cheque for €10,081 to Helena Bibby, Corporate Development Manager, at Temple Street Hospital who thanked the company for their efforts.
The group of 19 workers from TLI climbed Carrauntoohil on Saturday, August 27. At the beginning of the year, the staff of TLI Group voted Temple Street to be one of the company’s chosen charities to support throughout 2016.

In addition to the company’s charitable donations of €5,000 to the hospital at the start of the year, their employees also held a bake sale and took part in the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon which raised €1,270.
The climb was a huge success and brought total funds raised by the company for Temple Street this year to over €16,000. Well done to all involved.
