TOMMY Sheehy from the Spa Tralee has presented Enable Ireland Kerry with a cheque for €11,003.
This money was raised from a series of 8 hour Spinning Sessions undertook at various retail outlets throughout the county earlier this year.
Tommy also completed a gruelling cycle 5 day cycle from Barcelona to Valencia in June raising funds for Enable Ireland.
Tommy said; “I’d like to thank everyone who supported me, particularly all the managers and owners of the retail outlets that allowed me to undertake the spinning. Without their support I’d be unable to raise so much money. I’d also like to thank everyone who donated money while I was spinning. It’s tough doiung the 8 hours however I have great banter with some of the customers.”

Sean Scally from Enable Ireland said; “It’s great to have Tommy supporting our services in Kerry. The money he raises supports children and adults with disabilities in Co Kerry. All our services are geared to ensure that a disability is not an obstacle to a child or adult expressing themselves, building friendships, playing sports, accessing education and participating in the community.”
