Tralee Art Group members, Sinead O’Shea, Sian Roycroft, Judy Costelloe, Paudie Lynch arriving with their works for the Past, Present and Beyond Exhibition at Siamsa Tire, opening Thursday, January 12.
TRALEE Art Group will celebrate over 40 years in existence with an exhibition of works at Siamsa Tire Gallery, Tralee this month.
This momentous exhibition, which opens on January 12, will comprise a wonderful collection of works, in a variety of media, created by members, to celebrate and capture their personal responses to the last 40 years of TAG, while providing inspiration for the future.
TAG have organised exhibitions annually for more than 40 years since its formation in 1980. A not for profit group, members constantly develop skills and knowledge through participating in various courses, organising workshops and mentoring by professional artists.

TAG has always endeavoured to develop art in the community,encouraging artists of all ages. Members currently support clients of Baile Mhuire Day Centre in making art. TAG is committed to promoting and encouraging a local vibrant artistic culture.
Past, Present and Beyond aims to draw the viewer into this world of creative and community spirit. As part of the exhibition, there will also be physical and audio-visual catalogues describing the history of the art group and its works.
Curated by Tralee artist, Rebekah Wall, the official opening of this significant exhibition will be held on Thursday, January 12, at 6.30pm in the Gallery of Siamsa Tire.
