A TRALEE business has won a category at the inaugural Irish Hair and Beauty Awards held last night in Dublin.
Brush n Blush, run by mother and daughter team Frances and Maureen McCarthy, were delighted when they were announced as the winner of Hair Salon of the Year – South West 2016.
The hair and beauty salon has being going from strength to strength at its Caheranne Village premises and the award is icing on the cake for the ladies who hail from Fenit.

Aura at CH Chemists was nominated in another category, as was well-known Tralee beauty expert, Mary O’Donnell. The awards drew thousands of nominations from all over the country, so it’s a great achievement for the ladies.
The glitzy event, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin, endeavours to show appreciation for those in the beauty industry, from salons to the talented individuals who work within them.
