Both teams started the game strong. The pace was fast right through the first quarter, with the score being 15-10 to Tralee Imperials. In the second quarter, Tralee Imperials kept up their intensity which led to them increasing their lead to 26-17 at half time.

A full court press by St. Brendan’s in the third quarter worked well for them, but Tralee Imperials kept their composure with score at the end of the third quarter being 36-30.

In the final quarter, St. Brendan’s continued their pressure defence, but vital rebounding by Imperials post players and calm play by the team ensured that they retained their lead in the closing minutes, with final score being 46-41.
