TRALEE is set to host two big Saturday night games in the Allianz National Football League according to a provisional list of fixtures released today.
The fixtures are not finalised but have been distributed as part of a consultation process to counties. It sees Kerry footballers play four home league games next year against Tyrone, Dublin, Mayo and Monaghan.
The Dublin game is scheduled for Saturday, February 9 at 7pm so that would be under floodlights at Austin Stack Park. The Mayo game is scheduled for Saturday, March 16 at 7pm and is also sure to be Tralee if that’s the throw-in time.
The two games will provide a big boost to the town as it’s expected thousands of fans from both counties would travel to the county capital.

The opening game will be in Fitzgerald Stadium with Tyrone the visitors at 2pm on Sunday, January 27. Kerry travel to Cavan a week later on Sunday, February 3. There’s another away game against Galway on Sunday, February 24 at 2pm.
It’s back to Killarney on Sunday, March 3 against Monagahan, while the final game is against Roscommon in Hyde Park on Sunday, March 24 at 2pm.
The Kerry hurlers will host three of their five Div. 2A Allianz National Hurling League games at home. After an away trip to Antrim on Sunday, January 27, they’re home to Westmeath and Mayo on February 3 and 17 respectively.
After an away trip to London on February 24 their final game is against Meath at home on Sunday, March 3. All games are scheduled for Sundays and will likely be played in Austin Stack Park.
