Paddy Carmody has been appointed as the Senior Brand and Shopper Marketing Manager at Beiersdorf.
A TRALEE man has been appointed as the Senior Brand and Shopper Marketing Manager for one of Ireland’s leading provider of high quality skin care products.
Paddy Carmody from the Kerries area, a graduate of the IT Tralee, will now be responsible for all of the marketing operations here in Ireland for Beiersdorf who provide products such as Nivea, Nivea Men, Labello and Eucerin.

Before this appointment, Paddy, the son of Dr Mary Lucas and retired Dr Dan Carmody, held the position of Head of POS and Shopper Activation (UK & ROI) for two years. In this position, Paddy helped to grow the volume and depth of Beiersdorfs’ consumer reach in the mass and pharmacy market.
“On the back of winning the Beiersdorf Employee of the Year award, I was asked to head up our marketing operation in Ireland. How could I turn down the opportunity of returning home!” said Paddy on his recent appointment.
