Pro-Plan Sponsors Tralee Parnells 2017:

Tralee Parnells are delighted to welcome Pro-Plan Property Management Ltd. as our major sponsors once again for 2017.

Since the re-establishment of Tralee Parnells Hurling & Camogie Club, Pro-Plan Property Management and Rory Kerins have been generous, consistent and very supportive champions of Hurling and Camogie for all the children of Tralee.

Rory and Pro-Plan have provided invaluable support in our early years and continue to give our club vital assistance that is very much appreciated.

Parnells Player Skills Showcased:

Proud of our School/Club link seeing 5 Tralee Parnells players at the Cumann na mBunscoil Skills County Final today at Austin Stack Park. Well done Andrew, Darragh, Anna, Cathal and Jack representing Holy Family, Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, Abbeydorney and Blennerville. Keep up the good work David O’Dea agus na múinteoirí .. maith sibh!

Under 12 Boys:
Our under 12s showed us there is a lot more to come in phase two of the county league with a good display against Lixnaw last week. A brave second half comeback wasn’t enough to undo the damage done in the first half. Keep up the work lads and the results will come.
Happy retirement John Griffin:

Great friend to the Tralee Parnells club Tweek Griffin announced his retirement from inter-county hurling. The perfect fuse of talent and temperament, he did the simple things spectacularly while making the spectacular look simple.

He will be missed on the inter-county scene, but no doubt the great man will still give it his all when playing for his club and in coaching the future generation of hurlers. Always a role model for our players on and off the field. Thanks for the fantastic memories Tweek!

Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí Hurling Success:

Plenty of Parnells players on the Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí U15 winning team, we’ll done lads!  It was a good week for Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí this week.  The under 15 hurlers won the Craobh Chiarraí on Wednesday. They defeated St Brendan’s Killarney in the semi-final and the final was contested between Gaelcholáiste and Mercy Mounthawk at the John Mitchels sports grounds.  Gaelcholáiste played with the wind in the first half and were leading 1-7 to 0-1 at halftime.

Mounthawk reduced the deficit early in the second half but Gaelcholáiste replied with some fine scores to win on a scoreline of 3-14 to 0-7.

Leg Wax Cinderella Ending:

Shocking scenes were witnessed at the hugely anticipated leg waxing night for dads with a surprise Cinderella twist.

Hopefully those partners who may not have correctly identified their nearest and dearest while blindfolded and under extreme psychological pressure and scrutiny, are not still in the dog house.

Well done to all those who volunteered to be part of the general entertainment and hilarity on the night. Thank you to all the players and families who supported this fundraising initiative.  Don’t worry dad’s, we are assured it will grow back.  Eventually.

Bagpacking in Tesco manor next Friday from 10am to 6.30pm. Need as many parent as possible to help out during the day and kids over 12 years of age after school.
