Under 16/17 Camogie 7s:
We had 4 tough matches in hot conditions at the U15/17 Munster Club 7’s finals in LK Sunday. Huge workrate and positive teamwork all over the field lead to some lovely scores (and almost scores!). Congratulations to Rachael on a brave debut after starting camogie in the past month. Thank you Denise Heaslip, Mike Roger O Sullivan, Alice & Dan for coming along to support. Thank you Stuart Reid, Kathleen Egan and Munster Camogie for a worthwhile summer competition. Pairnealaigh Abu!

Under 8 Boys:
Well done to Tralee Parnells U8’s captained by Philip Doyle who participated in a blitz Friday evening in Abbeydorney.

Camogie U8 U10:
Parnells have invited Causeway Camogie U8’s/U10’s girls into Caherslee for fun games next Friday 27th  7-8pm instead of training.

Under 14 Camogie:
Well done all 17 of the Tralee Parnells Camogie under 14 players Tuesday night in Caherslee. It was great to get so much game time for everyone in both 15-a-side matches and delighted to see so many girls get on the ball and have an impact on the game. Both games were fairly even with good defending, nice link play, plenty chances and some nice scores by Parnells. The Causeway coach commented on the improvement in our players since we last met in May before Féile. Keep up the good work and keep practicing at home and coming to training. Many thanks to Causeway Camogie Club and to Killarney Camogie Club for travelling to Tralee. A great chance for dozens of girls to get valuable game time in 3 very sporting matches.

Minors Overcome Ballyduff:
In round 3 of the 1B Minor County League, Parnells minors travelled to Ballyduff. With 13 players on and no bench, Ballyduff battled well and several players showed great determination and skill, but the home side were unable in the end to keep pace with Parnells who used several of their subs and it was great to see Brian Lonergan back playing in a Parnells shirt when when was introduced onto the field. Parnells are next to face St. Brendans Ardfert, good luck to Tralee in that final fixture of the group stage.
