U16 and Minor Boys:
Very positive meeting this week where our U16 and minor management team was finalised for 2019.

A serious line up with years of experience in place.  Manager Michael Cassidy.  Coaches Timmy Weir, Mike McGrath, Andrew Morrissey and Ian Brick.  Both panels will train together this year and we hope to have high attendance at each session to ensure there is a continued team progression and improvement throughout the year.

We will start training on Friday 25th January in the IT Tralee (7-8 pm) – first 10 minutes will be a meeting to introduce coach’s and players and to outline plan for the year.

We have this venue for 8 weeks and will then move to Caherslee. The aim is to increase to 2 sessions per week once we move to Caherslee- we will do our best to schedule days and times that suit the majority of the panel.

Finally we are hoping to organise a trip to see the Limerick/Tipp game on Saturday 2nd February and to have a challenge match on the way.  We are looking forward to working with everyone again this year.

Kerry Camogie Stars In Their Eyes:
RSVP to Tralee Parnells Camogie mentors, if you would like to buy tickets for the Kerry Camogie “Stars In Their Eyes” fundraiser, Sat Jan 26, 8 PM, Ballyroe Hotel, €20pp. All profits go towards the development of camogie in Kerry.

Players U14+ might like to attend as this replaces the annual Kerry Camogie social that we all enjoyed so much last year; families are welcome also. 12 acts will impersonate their favourite pop icons, choreographed by Cassie Leen.

There will be 2x winners, one from the audience vote, and the other from the jury vote of: John Brassil TD, Toiréasa Ferris, Caroline McEnery and Mort Murphy. Emcee will be Radio Kerry’s, Brendan Fuller. This is a great way for players & mentors to reconnect after the winter break!
