PHOTOGRAPHERS from all over the county will come together at the Fels Point Hotel this Sunday for a special exhibition of work.

The ‘Kerry Landscapes Photography Exhibition’ will showcase the stunning scenery the county has to offer.

Among the many exhibitors are six Tralee-based photographers; Keith McGlynn (www.facebook.com/keithmcglynnphotography); Tracy Fitzgerald (www.facebook.com/tracyfitzgeraldphotography); Paul Woods, (http:\\perrylane.org); Caroline Corkery Scollard; Christina Houlihan Tydings and Billy Dermody.

“Beautiful photographs look fabulous in the home or office, and make wonderful gifts,” said photographer, Susan Browne, from Ballyduff.

“Why not come along and support all the local photographers who spend endless hours capturing the beauty of our county, whether it be hiking through a dark forest in the early hours to get to that hidden lake for sunrise, or perched on a mountain top watching the day fade into night with a beautiful sunset. However, many times it can mean sitting in the pouring rain, wishing the skies to clear for just a little while,” said Susan.

Many of the photographers taking part in the exhibition are beginners and have been posting their images on Facebook or other such social networking sites.

“The exhibition was brought about to get local photographers work out there and onto peoples walls and to ignite a passion in the general public and local businesses to enjoy the views of our beautiful county,” said Susan.

Admission is free and the exhibition takes place from 10am to 5pm.
