After working as an intern in a private commercial gallery in Dublin, she took on the role of Gallery Assistant as part of DĂșn Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Arts Office and later worked with Dublin City Council Culture Company in various roles.

Prior to taking up the role of Assistant Arts Officer for Kerry County Council, Hannah worked for the National Library of Ireland as visitor experience manager for the awarding winning Seamus Heaney: Listen Now Again exhibition.

Her aspiration in her new role is to promote culture in all its forms; to use it as a tool to connect people to place and each other. She is excited to be returning home Kerry, and the opportunity to work alongside Arts Officer, Kate Kennelly, and the team in the Arts Office.

The position of the Assistant Arts Officer is funded jointly by Kerry County Council and the Arts Council for a three-year period, through an arts specialist staff support scheme.
