Two sets of aluminium ladders were stolen from Laurel Court, Oakpark last night.
A LOCAL man is appealing for the return of two sets of aluminium extension ladders that were stolen from his van outside his home in Laurel Court, Oakpark overnight.
The ladders were taken from inside the van between the hours of 8pm on Tuesday and 7.45am this morning when he noticed them missing as he was going to work.
He is hoping that they will be found soon as they are a vital part of his family’s income.

He is encouraging any members of the public to contact the gardaí in Tralee if they have any information about the theft on 066 71 02300.
This is not the first incidence of ladders being stolen in Tralee this year. Back in February there were two cases of ladders being taken. Two from the roof racks of vans in Rock Street and the seven were taken from the side of a private house.
