Fifty per cent of the proceeds went to Children’s Medical & Research Foundation, Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin, while the other 50 per cent was divided up between global charities Save The Children, UNICEF and GAIN.

“We had a very busy day and employees were proud  the money went to charity,” said Edwina Hurley O’Driscoll, store manager at Vero Moda Tralee.

“We got a great reaction from our customers who were delighted their cash was going to great causes,” added Edwina.

Great work all round.
