TRALEE Rotary Club launched their annual ball in a most unusual fashion on Saturday – by taking the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Five members of the club got a soaking at this year’s venue for Rotary Club of Tralee Gala Ball, the Ballyseede Castle Hotel. The ball takes place on Friday, November 14.
Tickets are €80 and while the entertainment has yet to be confirmed, there will also be spot prizes on the night.
This year they have chosen Enable Ireland Tralee as main beneficiaries. All monies raised will stay in Kerry and will go towards the development of Assistive Technology Department for the county.
