Weather Advisory Issued As Cold Weather Approaches

Cold weather back in 2018.

MET Éireann has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Ireland for the coming week as freezing temperatures take hold from tomorrow night.

Met Éireann says it will be very cold this week as an Arctic airmass sets in, bringing sharp to severe frosts and icy stretches on roads.

Showers of hail, sleet, and snow will occur during the second half of the week in some areas. Updates with potential warnings will be issued in the coming days.

Looking locally, it appears there’ll be dry weather in Kerry all week with temperatures falling to 0ºc or lower in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

It will get colder as the week goes on with temperatures of around one or two degrees during the day and lower at night.
