Whaddya Think Of Joe Turning Up Like That Kieran?

KIERAN Donaghy got a shock this afternoon when a special friend dropped into the Austin Stacks Corporate Fundraiser in Ballygarry House Hotel.

While MC, Second Captains’ Eoin McDevitt was interviewing the Rockies ace about his, now famous, post All-Ireland comment “Whaddya think of that?” aimed at Joe Brolly, guess who stepped out from the shadows?

Kieran was explaining how the whole comment came about when Eoin McDevitt said “we might have a very special guest on the way to the stage?”

Enter Joe Bolly with the quip; “Ya cheeky Tyrone bastard!”

“Come up here boy and say that to to my face!” joked Star, as the Derry man joined him.

There were hugs aplenty when both men were on stage though, as Joe Brolly claimed his criticism was really a motivational speech in disguise.

Eoin McDevitt offered Joe the chance to apologise to Donaghy for writing him off, to which the Derry man replied: “Are you serious? I got this man an All-Star!”

Over 550 people packed the Tralee venue for the fundraising event which was attended by sporting legends from football, rugby and racing.
