Wind Warning Issued For Kerry Takes Effect From Early Hours Of Saturday

IT’S been an awful summer and it’s not going to improve by that much any time soon.

In fact, Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow Wind warning for Kerry which takes effect from the early hours of Saturday.

Met Eireann says there will be very strong north to northwest winds with gusts of up to 110 km/hr with possible impacts including falling branches, damage to temporary structures and difficult travelling conditions.

The warning is valid from 1am on Saturday to noon that day. Meanwhile, Friday is set to start off dry, but the rain will arrive in the late afternoon and last until the early hours of Saturday.

Saturday itself is set to be a mainly dry day with sunny spells, but temperatures won’t reach above 16 or 17 degrees. At the moment, it looks like Sunday will similar to Saturday, but with a greater threat of showers.
