THE body of a woman has been recovered from the river at Brewery Road in Tralee.
Gardaí were alerted by ambulance at 10:20am this morning and the emergency services are at the scene. No further details are available.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a man has been arrested following an alleged assault in Castleisland which is alleged to have taken place yesterday in the town. A man in his 30s was arrested and is currently detained at Tralee garda station.
