SIAMSA Tíre is inviting young people aged 15 – 20 to get dramatic as it launches its eleventh season of the Free Radicals Youth Theatre (FRYT).
A Taster Session will take place on Saturday, September 28 from 4 – 6pm and new members are welcome with the term commencing Saturday, October 8 at Siamsa Tíre.
The group meets every Saturday 4-7pm at Siamsa Tíre throughout the school term time up to April 2019.

The FRYT has successfully created a safe space for young people to explore their world using the medium of drama and plans to produce a performance at the end of each term, with the December production sponsored by Creative Ireland in association with Kerry County Council.
Established in 2008, the Free Radicals Youth Theatre provides workshops allowing members to devise and create their own drama and develop a wide range of performance skills.
This enables members to gain confidence, develop team working skills and perform work in a professional atmosphere. It also gives them an opportunity to explore their own identity through the expressive and performing arts and socialise creatively.
Siamsa Tíre welcomes back award winning Kerry playwright Neil Flynn and Kerry actor Gerry Fitzgerald as facilitators of the FRYT again this year. The programme will also include guest speakers/workshop facilitators.
This energetic team work tirelessly to inspire the group each year as they help them produce and perform collaborative works. This year the Free Radicals Youth Theatre will return to the stage in late December with a developmental performance of exciting new work.
