O’Brennan NS, Kielduff, Tralee was filled with lots of excitement when Lee Strand visited this week to present a cheque of €500 in the Cash 4 Schools Draw. Speaking at the presentation Mike Sweeney, Principal stated “We are delighted to have won this month’s draw and I would like to thank all the parents and pupils for sending in their Mighty Mikey Milk tokens in such great numbers, we certainly have a lot of Lee Strand milk drinkers! We will be putting the money towards our improvements to the outside play area. Thank you Lee Strand.”

John O’Sullivan, General Manager, Lee Strand said “Once again this year Lee Strand will present a total of €2,000 to schools in Kerry & West Limerick providing much valued financial support for schools. We would like to congratulate O’Brennan NS on winning €500 in our first draw and wish all schools the best of luck in our next three €500 draws.”
 
To enter simply collect 10 Mighty Mikey Milk mascots printed on Lee Strand 1 Litre and pint cartons or 2 Litre plastic bottles. The Institute of Technology Tralee honoured it's students who won All Ireland medals this year at a function in the North Campus. Dr. Oliver Murphy ,President, and Dr Brendan O'Donnell IT Tralee presented awards to Michael Potts , Donnchadh O Sullivan David Clifford and Chris O Donoghue. All four were part of the Kerry Minor Football Team who won the All Ireland Minor Football title. Josh Adams also received an award at the event, Josh was part of the Limerick team that won the All Ireland u21 Hurling title this year.Speaking at the event Dr. Oliver Murphy congratulated all five on their achievements and acknowledged the hard work and dedication it takes to perform at this level. He also congratulated David Clifford & Michael Potts on their selection on the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Star Team and on David's selection as the 2017 Electric Ireland Minor Player of the Year.
