All-Ireland Medal Winners Honoured By IT Tralee

THE Institute of Technology Tralee has honoured its students who won All Ireland medals this year at a function in the North Campus.

Dr. Oliver Murphy, President, and Dr Brendan O’Donnell, Registrar at IT Tralee presented awards to Michael Potts, Donnchadh O Sullivan, David Clifford and Chris O’Donoghue.  All four were part of the Kerry Minor Football Team who won the All Ireland Minor Football title.

Josh Adams also received an award at the event. Josh was part of the Limerick team that won the All Ireland u21 Hurling title this year. Speaking at the event Dr. Oliver Murphy congratulated all five on their achievements and acknowledged the hard work and dedication it takes to perform at this level.

He also congratulated David Clifford and Michael Potts on their selection on the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Star Team and on David’s selection as the 2017 Electric Ireland Minor Player of the Year.
