Séaghan had travelled very little before the first series of Téacs Taistil, but would now consider himself an expert.

“I had no travel experience prior to Téacs Taistil series 1,” he said. “I admit I was a bit of a rookie. In series 2 we really stepped it up another gear. We were as competitive as ever when it came to the tasks and having a wide mix of skills certainly came in handy – from Waltzing in Vienna to Sheep Farming in Reykjavik. Series 2 had no shortage of challenging moments but we always managed to pull through and have the craic while doing it! A journey to remember le mo bheirt chairde iontacha, can’t wait for everyone to see it! “

Téacs Taistil transports the viewer to a different destination each week for an inspirational, fun and entertaining 50-minute escape. Three presenters, three days, three tasks. A different short break every week. What to pack? How to dress? Where are we going?

You will get to follow the trio, as they hunt for the Loch Ness Monster, go Rabbit Show Jumping in Stockholm, search for the dead in Vienna and soar in the skies above Benbulben.

The seven locations they travel to include Athens, Isle of Skye, Palermo, Reykjavik, Sligo, Stockholm and Vienna. Téacs Taistil begins on TG4 on Wednesday March 6th at 9:30pm and continues at the same time for seven weeks.

Kerry FC Hope For First League Win As Treaty United Visit

.

KERRY FC host Limerick side Treaty United for Matchday 3 of the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division campaign on Friday night in Mounthawk Park.

It’s the first of two meetings in four days between the sides, with the Munster Senior Cup semi-final to come on Monday.

Kerry returned home last week to some wild weather conditions, which resulted in a 35-minute delay to proceedings in Tralee, with the visitors going home with all 3 points in a narrow 2-3 victory for Bray Wanderers.

Treaty United have started the league in the best possible way. Sitting top of the table after wins against both Cobh Ramblers and UCD AFC. The sides also met in Mounthawk Park on Matchday 3 last season, where Kerry earned their first-ever point in the League of Ireland in a 1-1 draw.

In his pre-match press conference, First Team Coach James Sugrue gave Kerry FC supporters some positive news.  Jack Kavanagh and Ronan Teahan have returned to be in contention for the matchday squad, having failed late fitness tests last week.

Valerii Dolia is a step closer to making his debut for the team with Sugrue saying that he is now back on the pitch doing some more recovery work and should be in full team training shortly. Nathan Gleeson will sit this one out with a one-game suspension for his red card

“On Friday we want to get three points,” said Sugrue. “We are really hungry for it now after the last night. You can see the performance was good, obviously, things went against us with the sending off and Nathan won’t be available for the game with the two yellows. He has been one of our best players, but look, we will adjust to that.”

The match kicks off at 7.45pm. Click here to buy tickets.
