GARDAI in Tralee have arrested a man in his 20s following a robbery incident on Strand Road on Tuesday, July 10.
The incident took place at approximately 12:45pm when the suspect approached a woman who was walking on Strand Road and stole her handbag.
Investigating Gardaí carried out a number of enquiries and a man in his 20s was arrested later that evening. He is currently detained at Tralee Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
