FÉILE 2019 : Abbeydorney GAA Club will welcome the players and mentors from Kinnitty-Lusmagh GAA in Co. Offaly, to the parish this coming weekend for the National U14 Hurling Féile.

This will be a wonderful, memorable experience for our young players. Abbeydorney will compete in Div. 8 along with Ballyheigue, Carrick-on-Shannon and our visitors, Kinnity-Lusmagh.

The opening game will take place on Friday afternoon @ 5.30pm in Abbeydorney, when we will play Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim. We then travel to Ballyheigue for a 7.00pm throw-in against Ballyheigue.

On Saturday morning @ 10am, we play our visitors Kinnitty-Lusmagh in Abbeydorney. Following some light refreshments, both teams will head for Cloughdubh in Cork to compete in either the Shield or Cup quarter-finals.

Both teams will return to The Complex later that day for an evening of entertainment where food and music will be provided for our players and families along with our visiting club.

The semi-finals are due to take place on Sunday morning @ 12 noon in Ballyanley in Cork, so hopefully we will be making that trip.
