ANOTHER Tralee man is getting set to grace one of the stages at Electric Picnic in two weeks time, when he plays the famous festival in Stradbally. with his band Naoise Roo.

Earlier this month we brought you the story of Gary Keane’s band, White Boys, who are to play the music festival.

Now, Eoin Murphy, a Rock Street native and resident drummer with the band, Naoise Roo, will take to the ‘My Lovely Ranch’ stage with his fellow members at some point over the weekend, with exact times still to be confirmed.

They will join a host of other support acts on the stage in what will definitely be one of the bands most high profile gigs to date.

The Dublin-based band who play music “interspersing Jazz, ambient electronica, noir cabaret and grunge rock” list PJ Harvey, Radiohead, The Cure, Massive Attack, My Bloody Valentine, Nick Cave as their influences.
