GARDAÍ are looking for the public’s help with the regard to separate incidents of arson in the Tralee area last week.
In one case a petrol bomb was thrown at a house in Balloonagh Estate according to gardaí. That incident is believed to have taken place Wednesday, January 13 at 4.30am.
The bomb was thrown at the house but smashed on the footpath outside and ignited. There was no damage done to the house and gardaí are asking if anyone saw anything suspicious in Balloonagh Estate around the time of the incident to contact them on 066-7102300.
In an unrelated incident, on Monday, January 11, a car was set on fire at about 4.30am on, where the gardaí describe as, the road behind the Ballyroe Heights Hotel.
The vehicle was destroyed in the incident and Gardai are appealing to the public if they saw or heard anything in the area around this time to contact them on 066-7102300.
