PEIL FAOI 6: Under 6 football fun in Caherslee (i) at 11.00am on Sunday and (ii) at 5.45pm on Thursday.
PEIL FAOI 8: (i) Under 8 GoGames blitz on Thursday at 6.30pm at the John Mitchel Club Grounds. (ii) Sunday morning in Caherslee at 11.00am.
PEIL FAOI 10: Under 10 football times in Caherslee: (i) Thursday at 6.30pm and (ii) at 11.00am on Sunday.
PEIL FAOI 12: (i) The U12 boys had two great games (A and B teams) v Neidín in the Lee Strand County League in Connolly Park…and with mixed results. Scóranna: AdeS A: 5-11; Neidín A: 5-13. Agus AdeS B: 5-17; Neidín B: 2-7.
(ii) Our U12 boys will now take short break from competitive football but training will continue. There are fine players at this age group and the club has high hopes that some of these lads will follow in the footsteps of successful Kerry Minors, Ciarán Ó Raghallaigh, Mícheál Ó Slatara agus Dylan Ó Cathasaigh who, only a short few years ago, were ag imirt peile Faoi 12 and who now, after last Sunday’s victory, have Munster Championship winners’ medals in their pockets! FAOI 14: (i) Sligo Féile feedback: “The whole Féile experience was a great one for the boys,” stated one parent. “And highest credit must go to all involved at every level.” Our young stars have settled down once again to our usual football challenges after a wonderful weekend between the Ox Mountains and Ben Bulben in the Yeats Country of North Connacht.
(ii) U14A Central Region: we played away to Na Gaeil on Monday last (3rd).
(iii) U14B Central Region: we play at home to St. Pat’s at 7pm this Friday (7th). Up The Rock!
FAOI 16: (i) Lee Strand County League Division 1: (a) ‘Well done’ to our U16s who travelled south and were successful v Neidín. Scór – AdeS A: 4-19; Neidín: 3-17. Maith sibh, a leaideanna. (c) Round 3 – 19th July: Crokes v AdeS A (away); (d) Round 4 – 26th July: Legion v AdeS A (as baile); (e) 2nd August: AdeS A (ag baile) v Laune Rangers. All games at 7pm. Semi-finals: 9th August; Final: 16th August. (ii) Division 7: (a) In the Under 16 County League, our B boys game v Fionnúig was postponed. (b) Our Bteam played at home v Moyvane/Tarber. Scór – AdeS B: 4-10; Moyvane/Tarbert: 9-20.
