We’ll meet at the clubhouse, Connolly Park, at 9.30am. Be there if you need a lift! Many thanks to our ever-faithful drivers.

(ii) The Thursday night football sessions for the Under 6/8/10 groups continue this week…24th May. These are great sessions and are much enjoyed by the participants. Starting time for the Under 6 players is 5.45pm. The Under 8 GoGames are being hosted by The Rock, in Connolly Park, and will commence at 6.15pm. Starting time for the Under 10 footballers will be 6.30pm. And since the end of Scairbhín (15ú) and the feast of Saint Brendan (16ú), the weather has improved!

RÁTH RÓNÁIN & SEANCHILL: We had another great session at the Rathonane/Shanakill Community Centre…above The Top of The Rock….on Wednesday and our youngsters had a very enjoyable time! Next Wednesday again at 6.30pm, le cúnamh Dé! Tráthnóna Céadaoine! All welcome!

PEIL FAOI 11: Having recovered from our highly successful and most enjoyable Kilmacud (Dublin) blitz trip, our Under 11 boys will welcome and challenge the Douglas Club (Cork) this Saturday and throw in time will be at 11.30am in Connolly Park. Excitement in abundance! Sceitimíní áthais ar chách!

PEIL FAOI 12: Results from our league games v Na Crócaigh: (i) AdeS A: 3-21; Crócaigh A: 3-2 and (ii) AdeS: 5-19; Crócaigh B: 1-5. Those encounters have marked the end of a highly successful PHASE ONE of the County League. Mighty stuff, boys!

PHASE TWO: (i) Sunday 20th…AdeS: 4-18; Cill Chuimín A: 3-5; AdeS C: 3-13; Cill Chuimín: 3-6…great results indeed! The second phase commenced last Sunday and we were at home to Kilcummin. Both Rock teams continued on their winning run with the A lads successful by a margin of 0-16, whilst the C team finished ahead by 0-7. Some excellent performances continue to show the dedication and commitment of this group and smiles on all faces show that they are thoroughly enjoying themselves! (ii) Tuesday 29th saw us away go Rathmore , whilst the B team’s game v An Daingean was called off. Next Sunday we’ll play Tarbert. PEIL FAOI 14: (i) The Tralee Town Board Suit Select Under 14 League (Division 1) Final between AdeS and K-O’R was re-fixed for Thursday 24th at 7pm in Na Gaeil Club field. (ii) In the semi-final of the County League (Division 1) our A boys came up a little short v Gleann Fleisce in Barra Dubh. Scór: AdeS A: 2-12;Gleann Fleisce: 5-18. They had already pipped us by 0-1 in an earlier round of the competition but we were hopeful of getting the upper hand this time!! Níorbh é ár lá é!! Thanks to all our boys for the great effort! Thanks to all who provided lifts! (iii) Our B boys took on the a very strong Dr Croke Club Bs in the County League (Division 9) semi-final on Wednesday (16th). Disappointingly, Dr Crokes were unable to play this game any other evening except on the 16th. After a poor first half display, which saw us 0-17 adrift, we put in possibly our best second half performance of the year and showed the large crowd in attendance just why we deserved to be in a County League semi-final. However, we were unlucky to come out on the wrong side of a 4-4 to 4-8 scoreline. Great heart and effort shown again and great credit due to all!

PEIL FAOI 16: (i) Traenáil mar is gnách Dé hAoine agus Dé Domhnaigh. (ii) We had a resounding win over Laune Rangers in the Central League semi-final on Monday week last and this victory set us up for a final v Castlegregory on Monday last. Up The Rock! (iii) Best wishes to Armin Heinrich as he recuperates from an unfortunate injury. Tá súil againn go mbeidh sé ar fónamh agus ar muin na muice sara fada.
FAOI 17: Our best wishes to Seán Quilter and his Kerry collegues in their Munster Final preparations. Táimid go léir ag súil go mór le Craobhchluiche Peile na Mumhan v An Clár i Mí an Mheithimh.
NA MIONÚIR: ‘Comhbhrón mór’ to our most unlucky minors in their Division 1 League Final v Raonaithe na Leamhna ar an Satharn seo caite (19ú).
