SENIOR FOOTBALL: The draw has been made for the Senior Town Championship. We play Ballymac in semi final one while O’Rahillys and Mitchels will contest the other semi. Both games have been provisionally fixed for the August Bank Holiday week-end. At that stage we are likely to have played ten of our eleven Co. League games.

But before all that it’s back to our 4th round of the Co. League – an away game against Glenflesk – on the week-end after next (w/e 13thMay).

B FOOTBALL: Our B team also have Co. League duty on the week-end after next – a home game against table-toppers, Scartaglin in round 4 of the competition.

HURLING: With the North Kerry IH League now complete the next outing for our Hurlers is likely to be in the Co. League which is scheduled to start at the end of May. Unless any changes take place in the meantime we will have five round robin games (three away and two at home) as follows – Ballyheigue away (Wed 30th May); Kenmare at home (Sun 3rd June); Kilgarvan away (Wed 13th June); Dr. Crokes at home (Fri 22nd June) and O’Dorney away (Wed 27th June).

MINOR FOOTBALL: Both Co. League semi finals have been fixed for next Friday week (11th May). We play Cordal/Scartaglin in one semi while Dr. Crokes are up against Laune Rangers in the second semi. Both games should be keenly contested as when the sides met in the round robin games a few weeks ago very little separated them. We barely scrope through against Cordal/Scart – winning by the narrowest of margins (1-11 to 2-7), while Crokes overcame Laune Rangers with just two points to spare (1-13 to 3-5). In the meantime there is a game on the match schedule for this Friday evening (4th May) – we are away to Ardfert in the last round of the Town League – but as we write this fixture has not been confirmed.
