SENIOR FOOTBALL: Our Seniors have three games coming up in three different competitions over the next few weeks.

As we write, the only one that has been definitely fixed is our Town Championship semi final away to Ballymac on next Sunday (12th Aug) at 2pm. Then on the following weekend (w/e 19th Aug) the last round of the Co. League is due to take place. We play Castleisland Desmonds at home. And our next game after that is likely to be our encounter against Kenmare District in the opening round of the Co. Championship.

BEST WISHES: Congratulations and best wishes to current SF Selector Jonathan Conway and his new bride Emma Enright who got married last Saturday. Health and happiness to you both from everyone in the Club and the wider community.

B FOOTBALL: We are due to play Kerins O’Rahillys in a round of the Town League in Healy Park on Wednesday evening (8thAug). Throw in at 7.30pm.

MINOR FOOTBALL: Our Minors are due to play Shannon Rangers in Connolly Park on next Tuesday week (14th Aug) in the quarter final of the Co. Championship.

HURLING: The South Kerry League, away to Duagh, is due to go ahead on this Wednesday evening (8th Aug) at 8pm. If we win this game we then have won the League. However if Duagh win the game then both sides will be on six points each after completion of the four rounds and the sides then will have to meet again in the League Final.

CLUBHOUSE: As always the Clubhouse is available for all types of Parties and Functions. Enquiries about Club Bookings should be made by contacting Harry Hynes at 087 2467286.

LOTTO: Last week’s (30th July) Jackpot, worth €8,850, was not won. The numbers drawn were 1, 18, 21, 25. The €20 winners were: Joe Carey and Jim Finucane, both c/o The Club; Chloe & Charley Healy, c/o Richard Healy; Kieran Dignam, c/o Colm Mangan; and Tom Hoare, c/o Denis O’Regan.
