SENIOR FOOTBALL: In the postponed round 11 Co. League game played at Lewis Road last Sunday Dingle defeated Dr. Crokes (1-18 to 1-12) which now means that there will be a play-off between Dingle and ourselves (both have finished on 16 points each) to determine who goes through to the League Final.

The game has been fixed for Sunday week (8th December) at 2pm with extra time and a result on the day in place. Both sides have agreed to toss for venue and this has yet to take place as we write.

This will be the 4th meeting between ourselves and Dingle this season. We had wins in the first two games – in round 1 of the Club Championship played last April (2-12 to 2-9), and in round 6 of the Co. League played in June (3-11 to 0-10).

Then Dingle won the 3rd game played in September which was in round 1 of the Co. Championship (0-12 to 0-6).
On the following Sunday (15th Dec) the play-off winners will travel to Rathmore to play the home side in the Co. League Final. Throw-in for this game is also at 2pm.
