Bags To Be Searched Outside Stadium In Heightened Security For Munster Finals

SPECTATORS going to the Munster finals in Killarney in two weeks are being advised that their bags will be searched outside the stadium.

Tickets details for the minor and senior games on July 2 were released last night on the Kerry GAA website and it was revealed that security measures will be increased.

“Renewed awareness of security means that all bags will be searched so spectators are advised to expect a ticket and security search in the environs of the stadium and allow time accordingly. If you do not need a bag leave it at home,” according to Kerry GAA.

The game is an all-ticket affair with the minor game at 12 noon and the senior game at 2pm

There are 5,500 stand tickets for distribution between three competing counties when Season Ticket holders are deducted from the Stand Capacity.

The majority of these tickets will be allocated to the competing counties (Kerry, Cork and Clare).

A limited number of Stand Tickets will go on general  sale via the usual outlets (Participating Centra & Supervalu Stores, Tickets.ie etc) at 11am tomorrow (Tuesday) .

Pre-purchased Stand Tickets cost €35 but from midnight on July 1 the cost will increase to €40).

Pre-Purchased Terrace Tickets cost €25 (€30 after midnight on July 1), children – €5

 

Terrace Tickets are Colour Coded as usual – Green for the St Finans end, Blue for the Lewis Rd end & Red for behind the Lewis Rd goal. Adults tickets can be purchased Green & Blue & Red Terrace, family tickets can only be purchased in the Red Terrace.

OAP/ Student concessions in all areas of €10 prior to entry with valid ID.

Tickets may be purchased in advance at the usual sources (Participating Centra & Supervalu Stores including all Garveys Supervalu Stores, Tickets.ie The Kerry GAA Store and Austin Stack Park etc)
