YOUNG ladies from the local area raised €650 recently in aid of the Old Forge Museum in Churchill.
Molly McDaid, Aoife Greaney, Lisa Cassidy and Mary Jo Daly organised the event with Peggy Daly and the community donated an array of cakes, breads, buns and other goodies.
They received huge support after Mass on Saturday, July 1o, resulting in the large sum being raised. Spa Fenit Community Council thanked the ladies for their endeavours when they received the cheque at the Forge on Tuesday.
