Ballybunion Beach has been named amongst the top five surfing destinations along the Atlantic coast.
BALLYBUNION has been named amongst the best of the best in terms of summer getaway destinations for surfing.
The area has been ranked fifth best in the country as a surfing spot by leading surf travel provider ‘surfholidays.com’ who ranked what they considered to be the best places to surf along our coasts.
In what will surely be another big boost for tourism in the area, the list was compiled over a fortnight and took into account factors such as surf breaks, cafés and amenities, nightlife, family friendly options, surf schools in the area and the general ‘vibe’ of the surf community.
The report on the website states that “when travelling the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballybunion in Co.Kerry is simply not to be missed.”
