Under 12 Boys recap of games

The under 12 boys Division 1A County League    began away to Kilcummin Sunday 15th April . The boys started slowly with the locals taking a commanding lead to half-time. The second-half was a much closer affair, losing the half by a point, but too much of a gap to be closed saw Kilcummin run out winners.

Our next game was at home to Dr Crokes on Monday 23rd April. A great first half performance saw the boys trail by the minimum at half-time. Some goal chances were left behind during the first half and this proved costly in the second-half when Crokes fired in two early goals and put themselves in the driving seat for the rest of the game. Our boys tried hard but the visitors ran out winners on a scoreline of 5-12 to 3-04.

Panel as follows; Conor Martin, Evan O Brien,Thomas Leen, Mark O Connor, Cathal White, Tom Long, Jamie Burke, Micheal Savage, William O Donoghue, Shane Gilroy, Jack Slattery, Jamie Lynch, Alex Riordan, David Lucid.

Next county league game is at home, against Austin Stacks, Tuesday 1st May.

Under 12 Girls

Our u12 girls travelled to Connolly Park to play Austin Stacks in the final round of Division 1 of the North Kerry League last week with the winner being crowned 2018 Champions.

In a closely contested game Ballymac held a slender lead at half time(1-2 0-4).

An Austin Stacks goal early in the second half saw them take a lead they did not relinquish. Our girls gave it their all to regain the lead but lost out on a 1-6 to 1-4 scoreline.

Our focus now switches to the Co League which begins shortly.
