COLM Cooper has been announced as Kerry Person Of The Year by the Kerry Association in Dublin tonight.
The Kerry GAA legend will be presented with the award at a gala ceremony at the Association’s annual Oiche Chiarrai which will be held at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin on Friday, March 2.
The announcement was made at a press reception in The Shelbourne Hotel tonight by Keelin Kissane, Cathaoirleach of the Kerry Association in Dublin.

Meanwhile, the Special Olympics Clubs of Kerry have received the Laochra Chiarraí award which recognises exemplary leadership in community activity in the county.
The Kerry Person of the Year Award, now in its 39th year, is presented to people who are making a significant contribution to their locality and Kerry as a whole, or whose achievements have reflected credit on the county.
