THE annual Tralee Municipal District ceremony to commemorate the Easter Rising and the unveiling of a 1916 Commemorative Stone takes place on Easter Sunday, April 21 at 12 noon in Pearse Park, Denny Street, Tralee.
There will be an unveiling of a 1916 Commemorative Stone listing 108 names of Kerry people who fought in 1916 Rising.
This project was funded by Kerry County Council and supported by the local elected councillors. The oration will be given by historian Dr. Tim Horgan.
