Five Things To Do At The Festival Today

And now, the end is near. This is the final day of the festival so best make the most of it. Here’s a few suggestions on what to get up to today… 

1. Family fun continues…

The Féile na mBláth festival comes to an end today in the Town Park with your final chance to enjoy Family Camps, a Flower Show, The Big Dig, Fanzini Brother, Circus work- shop, Drum Dance & Hoolie, Kids Party Club, Kingdom Party Pals.

The Family Town Show features ‘Madagascar – A Musical Adventure’ with Alex, Marty, Melman, Gloria, The Penguins & of course King Julien. Well worth a visit with the young kids (see full programme below).

2. Bring your dog to the park…

The Paws and  TailsDog Show is on in the Town Park. All classes catered for – Tye, Terrier, Gun, Collies, Rescue, Senior, Best Dressed, Small, Medium & Large plus Dog of the Show and more. 100% of fees towards Animal Help Kerry whose principal work involves re-homing unwanted and abandoned animals. Registration from 1.30pm

3. Free music entertainment…

It’s been a great week for free music entertainment on both the Denny Street and The Square stages.

Tonight see Mundy take to the Denny Street stage from 10pm to belt out his many hits, while Renovater will rock The Square from 9pm to 11pm.

4. Midnight Madness…

The festival will come to a close with the new Rose of Tralee parading through the streets and making an appearance on the Denny Street stage with the fireworks show bringing proceedings to a close.

5. Fun in the Dome…

The Dome in the Abbey Car Park will host DJ Fergal D’Arcy  from 11pm-2am. Tickets are €15 online/ €20 on the door).
