In case you get cabin fever at home over the next few days, here’s a few things to get up to…

1. Get to town early on Christmas Eve…

The atmosphere in town on Christmas Eve is always special so why not head in with friends and family, have a quick drink (or two) and go home early. Also, the guys from An Post usually do some singing for charity in the town centre so please give generously if you can.

2. Go for a Christmas morning run…

Get your Christmas Day off to a healthy start by taking part in a special Parkrun at the usual time of 9.30am.

This year teas and coffees will be served at the town park after the run thanks to the lovely people at the ‘The Born To Run Dashboard Diner’. Please bring your own cup to cut back on reusable cups.
